Rep. David Bowen endorsed David Crowley for County Executive

MILWAUKEE – Today, State Representative David Bowen, for 1st Vice Chair of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin, added his name to the long list of elected officials endorsing Rep. David Crowley to be the next Milwaukee County Executive.

“I've known David Crowley since we were both young community organizers and I've witnessed first hand his dedication to progressive issues,” said Rep. David Bowen. “In the State Legislature he's displayed leadership that shows he's a strong partner countering the false negative narrative some try to paint on Milwaukee and I know that he will continue that work as the next Milwaukee County Executive.”

“During this time of polarizing politics, David effectively works with both sides of the aisle without compromising the values the most diverse part of the State needs,” continued Bowen. “I fully trust my friend David Crowley will be the progressive champion we need to lead Milwaukee County forward, and I hope that our residents will join me in voting for him on April 7th.”

Representative Crowley currently serves Wisconsin’s 17th Assembly District, representing almost 60,000 residents in the State Legislature. As a member of the State Assembly, David sits on the Energy and Utilities, State Affairs, Workforce Development,  and Transportation Committees, and is the ranking member on the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee. He is the Chair of the Milwaukee Delegation, the Chair of the Black Caucus, and the Co-Chair of the Black and Latino Caucus. He also serves as a member of the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA) Board of Directors.

Representative Crowley lives in Milwaukee with his wife, Ericka, and their three young children.
