Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm endorses David Crowley for County Executive
MILWAUKEE – Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm today became the first countywide elected official to endorse in the Milwaukee County Executive’s race by announcing his support of Representative David Crowley.
“David Crowley has a clear understanding of the challenges that this community faces and knows that it is going to take collaboration to fix them. David’s unique background and impressive record in the state legislature make him the clear choice to lead this community forward,” said District Attorney Chisholm. “I know the impact that David’s work around public safety has had at the state level, and I am excited to build on that work with him here in Milwaukee County. I fully endorse Rep. Crowley to be the next Milwaukee County Executive; he’s the right person for this job and I hope others will join me in voting for him on February 18.”
“District Attorney John Chisholm has been a leader in criminal justice reform not just in our community, but nationally. The work that the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s office has been able to do around providing support for victims and lowering racial disparities has created a model for other communities around the country,” said Rep. David Crowley. I look forward to partnering with him to continue this work as the next Milwaukee County Executive.”
